Bokeh

Here the example of bokeh I was talking about.

Some definitions from the bokeh group discussion on flickr:

The word "bokeh" comes from the Japanese word "boke" (pronounced bo-keh) which literally means fuzziness or dizziness.

a Japanese term that has to do with the shape and gradation of out of focus portions of the image

Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light.

It describes the appearance or "feel" of out-of-focus backgrounds and foregrounds
